Desi-Vac™ Automatic Vacuum Pump Container Complete Description
Desiccator with automatic vacuum pump is ideal for drying, preserving, storing, and even shipping samples. Vacuum pump automatically removes air and maintains the vacuum continuously. Rubber O-ring-sealed insures a strong seal. Achieves a vacuum of better than 200 inches of water (15 inches of mercury). Powered via an AC power adapter (supplied) or by 4 each D-cell batteries (not supplied). Simply turn the unit on, close the container and vacuum is created and maintained automatically. Sample Humidity Sponges™ desiccant drying packets are included.
Stores samples
Plastic container is ideal for storing chemicals, powders, tissues, plant sections, electronics, and weighing samples. Vacuum and desiccants keep material dry. Green and red LED lights confirm that the interior vacuum has been achieved and is being maintained. Supplied with AC power supply, sample tray and humidity indicator.
