Meets lab analysis regulations for measuring reagent grade water for CAP, ASTM, NCCLS, and ACS. Labs wanting to maintain accreditation must maintain a periodic check of water purity. Unit is 100% compatible with all accreditation analysis requirements.
Traceable to NIST for accuracy
To assure accuracy an individually serial-numbered Traceable® Certificate is supplied to indicate traceability to standards provided by NIST (National Institute of Standards and Technology). Accuracy is ±0.4% of full range. Expanded range provides five scales with readings from 0.01 to 200,000 micromhos (microsiemens) and 0.1 to 120,00 parts per million of dissolved solids. Range is from ultra pure water to beyond seawater.
Perfect water tester
Use this meter to check the purity of water from stills, deionizers, and reverse osmosis, to test laboratory glassware rinsing, to measure total dissolved solids, and to make up solutions. Specifically designed to measure conductivity in water analysis, biology, chromatography, food, electronics, dairies, and PC board rinsing.

Answers in five seconds
Glass probe contains platinum electrodes for instant response and a solid-state thermistor for automatic temperature compensation. All readings are automatically referenced to the international standard of 25°C. Recorder jack allows continuous monitoring and a permanent record. An external electronic calibration “plug” for 1000 micromhos (microsiemens) is supplied. A control knob permits calibration to solution standards. Size is 5 x 2-1/4 x 5-3/4 inches and weight is 12 ounces. Glass Probe has a diameter of 1/2 inch, length of 5-1/4 inches, and cable length of 59 inches. Supplied ready to operate with instructions, probe, 9-volt battery, Traceable® Certificate, recorder jack, and electronic calibrator. Replacement battery Cat. No. 1112.
