24-Hour and Traceable® 7-Day Controller Complete Description

Units combine a controller and an eight-outlet strip in a single package. Controllers can turn on chemical, water, or air pumps as part of a sampling process; warm up instruments at preset times; and automate testing, heating, mixing, or even the feeding of animals.

Both time-controlled and manual outlets
Four of the outlets are time-controlled and four are manual. An override permits equipment to be switched on or off instantly without disturbing the program. This feature allows use of equipment without ever removing the plug. Safety features include a lighted on/off switch and a push-to-reset circuit breaker. Unit is UL-listed and is rated to 15 amps, 1000 watts at 125 VAC. Supplied with a rugged plastic case and 4-foot cord with a three-pronged, grounded plug. Controller is tested and components are burned-in to eliminate the possibility of field failure.

24-Hour Controller
The 24-hour electromechanical controller has index pins, which are raised or lowered to set trip times. Pins constantly display all time settings; a single glance verifies an entire program. May be set in any 15-minute increment. Program repeats itself every day. Unit is not Traceable to NIST.

7-Day Traceable® Controller
Controller will turn equipment on and off in intervals as short as one minute or as long as 168 hours. Set 84 on/off switchings per week with up to 12 different switchings per day. Turn an instrument on today and off a week later. The repeat mode allows programming the same cycle each day for 365 days, scheduling a weekly program cycle for 52 weeks, jumping weekends, or skipping any selected days.

Meets the most critical experimental requirements and quality control needs. To assure accuracy an individually serial-numbered Traceable® Certificate is provided from our ISO 17025 calibration laboratory accredited by A2LA. It indicates traceability to standards provided by NIST (National Institute of Standards and Technology). Accuracy is 0.01%.

The memory chip and the display are powered by an internal nicad battery for program backup in the event of an electrical outage. Bright, 1/2-inch-high LCD shows the exact time-of-day complete with indicator, day of the week, and the on/off status of the program. Size for each unit is 9-1/2 x 2-3/4 x 1-1/2 inches and weight is 1 pound.
